Learn how Mecklenburg County and the Town of Matthews are supporting businesses, building an appealing community, and improving the quality of life in our town.
Matthews, NC – Current and future business owners and leaders across greater Matthews are invited to attend the 2019 Business Summit: Matthews Rising: Building Community = Supporting Business.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Current and future Matthews business owners and leaders, as well as anyone interested in learning more about the programs, services, and initiatives available to local businesses.
WHAT: The Town of Matthews Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) is once again coordinating an annual Business Summit, which will include insightful presentations, a panel discussion, and an interactive conversation with the audience. The program is free and lunch is included.
WHEN: 11:15am to 1:00pm on Friday, October 11, 2019
WHERE: Matthews Sportsplex meeting room, 2425 Sports Parkway, Matthews
Pre-registration by Friday, October 4 is required since seating is limited.
WHY: At this 2019 Business Summit, attendees will learn about the programs and services the Mecklenburg County Office of Economic Development provides to assist with development, growth, and retention of businesses of all sizes. Attendees will also hear how the Town is building community to make Matthews a welcoming environment for businesses. Finally, an insightful panel discussion will focus on the ways area organizations are supporting current Matthews businesses.
